Fun news!:
1.) My good friend Kinonaru89 on DA and I plotting on getting together sometime this month or sometime in August... It all depends on how parnoid my parents are. They won't let me go anywhere I swear X_X They keep me on a leash and it just pisses me off plain and simple.
2.) I start school August 28, yippees... Driving 1 and a half hours to get to school and back again... My poor Excaliber is going to be packing on the mileage.
3.) Within the next coming months I should be getting promoted! WOOTS! Senior Airman Sheppard reporting in sir and/or mam! |

Woots! Well today is the 27 of July and that makes today my birthday!
I wasn't expecting much but what I did get from my parents was a car! Yes I is not shitting you. Got a 2001 Ford Focus. Two door hatch-back with the works. It's a pretty cool custom color to o.o Its a funky orange/gold color. Like that squash baby food color but a lil golder. Because its such a wussy looking lil car with such an awesome paint job I decided to him Excaliber! >.> <.< >.> I'll eventually get off my arse and get pictures up.

Wow its been like forever since I last updated o.o; Well to sum everything up... I graduated basic training and tech school, did my 30s of active duty on my base, and I'm about to start college come September.
As a refresher here my MOS or job in the military is NDI, Non-Destructive Inspection. Some people have come to call us the 'Crack Finders'. Yesh a big running joke in the entire United States Air Force. Har har giggle giggle snicker STFU!!!
Anyways onto the college thing, I'll be going to Dutchess County Community College and I'll be studying Aviation Science to progress my pilot training.
Anyways got back from our month long excursion to Vermont where we rode on Segways and stuffs. Its good to be home and my birthday is in 5 days ^0^ happy day! |

Yes yes I know it's been a while since I last updated... Yeah like 4 months or so... Buuutttt at least I'm here updating.
Anywho once again... I survived Basic Military Training and now I'm off to tech school come this Monday. I'll be there until February 10. Yes I know 'wow that's a long time' But hey at least I'll have computer access so it won't be as boring on my off time. The day after I get back from tech I have 30 days of active duty on the job training at my base. No biggie really. It'll be fun. I like my job, aircraft maintaince: non-destructive inspection. I'll get to know the plane inside and out literally. This will be helpful for when I go and get my degree in aviation in college. Of course this will help in me going out for my commercial pilots license later on in life.
But enough of my own lil plans for right now. I discovered while down in basic that I have a talent... That talent would be handling an M-16... Out of a possible 43 points to get marksmanship I recieved 36. Sorta scared my parents when I showed them my scores and what not. MRE's are the best things you can ever have. Yeah they may sound gross and nasty as shit but their really quite good. They even come with candy shit! M and M's of assorted types, Skittles, Tootsie Rolls, and Mike and Ikes. Like I said... Good shit.

A few random things... One I gots my drivers license, I know woot woot! But no... Yesterday we took my cat to the vet and found out that he had a cancerous growth on his face preventing him from eating and drinking... So today with bought him to have him put to sleep cause the thing was to far on for them to surgically remove... I've known that cat for a half my life... He was my baby... ;_; I miss him desperately......
But anywho... I'm off to Virginia this Staurday for my last bang before I flee off to basic. I'll probably update once more before I go so nyah... |

To make this clear for all who watch me, I mentioned this before and I shall mention it again exactly 25 days from today I'll be away for a while.

What I mean by while is in accuality is closer to like 5 months. >_> <_< >_> But never threat I have a good excuse though! August 30 I'm off to basic for 6 weeks... I know, what fun! *cough cough* Ehh maybe at least. It'll be different from anything else I've ever done at least. I should get back October 17... I know woohoo! I lived! Errr maybe, maybe not we'll see, but I plan on passing.
Three days after I get back I'm off to Florida for tech school. Depending on the field a persons in depends on how long the job training is. In my case my tech school is one of the longest at 5 months straight. The longest being a load master at 9 months >> Pilots... well that's a whole other story considering you gotta be an officer to fly but hey the possibilities ahead of me!
Basically what I'm trying to say here is don't look forward to hearing from me again to at least late January. |

First one... 10 days until I get to look forward to a 9 hour car trip home at long last!
Second... 15 days until my birthday! =^-^= Happy 18 for me! I'll be officially legal ot drink in Canada! >.> the ideas and possibilities. Hehehehehe....
Third... I have 40 some odd days before I'm shipped to Lackland Texas for basic training! Like said I'm looking forward to it all! I want to challenge myself and see how far my body and mind can go. I say bring it on! |

I'm here in Vermont for another 2 weeks, 14, days, and I'm not going as far as counting hours yet. I get to look forward to some boredom considering everyone I knew up here left already. I'll just veg via hanging around a pool or playing pool. whatever I can think of.
A more interesting note...19 days until my birthday.... WOOHOO! *cough cough* And... 54 days until I'm shipped out. Another woohoo but not as pronounced. |

I return again. Yeah supposedly for the next 4 to 5 days it's suppose to be crappy and rainy and funky in general. But hey at least I can hike and work out for my up coming adventure to basic. Yeah that is definitely going to be tens times worse than any camp I've ever been in. But enough of that and onot the camp activites for today.
Today was spent being creative with duct tape. Yes you wouldn't believe the things you can make outta duct tape. Though I haveta say that the duct tape thong that one of the guys made was quite... errr what's the word I'm looking for... Unusual... Needless to say. *cough cough* Me I was attempting to make a duct tape dagger thing which didn't turn out as well as I hoped it would've... Bu though I haveta say that the hilt came out all right. Then in the afternoon after our lunch break we played Extreme dodgeball. When I say extreme... Dear lord I'll be brusied tomorrow for sure... It was guys vs. girls and we got our asses whooped... Big time at that. IT was thirty guys vs. twnety five or so girls and like previously said... We got served. Luckily for us it started to thunder so we weren't killed that badly. Though I will have a bruise on my shoulder tomorrow for a ball that had to hit me going at least 30 mph. X-X... Curse the men and their athletic-ness!
Tomorrow I get to look forward to my father coming up via plane. Which means... I get to stay home while my mother picks him up at Burlington International Airport. Which also means.. That I have free range of the computer! Haha!!
Ehhh I'll be here for another 3 and a half weeks so I assure all of you that there will be more to update on so od look forward to it and do enjoy. ^-^ |

Hey there all once again! Sry I haven't updated in a while, I totally forgot I had a livejournal account. ^-^'''''' Oops? But hey anyway. I'm currently in Vermont on vacation once again. I'll be here until July 23. I'll be home again for about two weeks before my family and I head down ot Virginia for a week and a half. Three days after that I'll be off to basic! Fun fun... I'll be in Texas late August you wanna know what the weathers like in Texas during that time of year? HOT AS HELL!!!! But the nice thing is... I'll be in Florida for Hallloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years for tech school. I hope to update once again on a regualr basis. So please do look forward to that. |

I went up today for three hours... Yes count 'em three! But hey it's all worth it. Happy note... My first drill weekend is May 14 and 15 fun fun. May 16 we have another fun C-5 tour, again kinky. Schools out for me on June 15 while my home high school gets out what the 21? But guess what people... while your taking finals I'm gonna to be flying over! BUWAHAHAH!! I get to help one of my flight instructors with Y2Kids, a stupid program in which shows kids at an early age what careers they'll be interested in. That happens May 18 and 19 while on the 20 my flight school class is going to Newark via plane to see the cool little flyin/ convention thing. Fun fun yes. It's become official and approved by my school that I don't have to go to graduation... To tell all ya the truth... I rathered not go and damn glad that I'm not. Besides I'll be in Vermont on that day until the 23 of July. So yes indeed I a busy schedule ahead of me coming up. Fun fun... especially considering that I'm leaving for basic on August 22. WOOT and yet no WOOT! |

Bonjour mes amis! Tis I Kayleigh! Very good mode are I, yes... Tomorrow I solo cross country. Fun yes but to tell ya the truth... I'M SCARED SHITLESS! *cough cough* But the thing is I'm afraid what would happen is i get lost. But I believe I can do it. ^-^ Wish me luck on that. Another happy note. My school ski team made it to sectionals. I'll be able to get out of school for a day or two. Fun yes but I see pain in my future. Well it's either me or someone else I don't know. Ouch... *wince twitch* I killed myself again in skiing... Details well here it is. It was the fourth gate at the top of the mountain. Keep this in mind it was a slalom and it was icy out. Well it was the fourth gate and I started to slide. I tried to turn around the gate but I continued forward right into the pole. I straddled it, with it hitting me in the face. As soon as I was over it it rebounded and hit me in the back of the head. That's why kiddies you wear a helmit! Well after I came off of it I fell and man I tell you it feels like I broke my arm near the elbow. I fell so hard that even with 4 layers of long sleeved shirts on I skinned that elbow. *is seen applying serveral bandaids to slightly bleeding elbow* On another happy note I intern tomorrow. Fun! ^_^ Later people! |
